What You'll Do As A Maintenance Technician:
Responsible for identifying equipment deficiencies and performing diagnostic testing.
Preparing maintenance records.
Maintaining a clean safe work area and working safely.
You will facilitate identification and requisition of parts from the storeroom.
Performing highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Performing simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
Performing mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
You need to be able to see 20/20 with or without glasses.
Work Experience The Preferred Candidate Might:
Have a high school diploma/GED and completion of craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
At least 4
years of manufacturing experience; welding, hydraulic, mechanical, industrial skills with PLC programming, control wiring and VFD installation/troubleshooting.
Be prepared to understand and abide by the applicable OSHA, safety regulations and policies.
Have experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
Heavy electrical and mechanical experience.
Be prepared to train on the day shift Monday through Friday.
